Rob Gokee, author of In
the Belly of the Fail Whale:How Twitter Changed My Life in One Year, is a
composer of music for films and television shows. He lives in Los Angeles with
his wife Allison Vanore, and has two children from a previous marriage. Rob got
a degree in Music Theory and Composition from the University of New Mexico, and
then went on to spend six months under famed composer Christopher Young. He has
now scored eight feature films, numerous shorts and television shows, including
SyFy’s “Fact or Faked”, PBS “Roadtrip Nation”, and TruTV’s “Police POV”. Rob is
currently working on the scores for the feature films “Alice & the Monster”
and “Love in the Time of Monsters” while also composing for Discovery and TruTV
shows and writing his second book.
